2014 Fantasy Football Rankings and Projections

The projections that drive our Draft Prep packages are the result of hundreds of hours of intense analytics work. Gridiron-Guru's analysis has been featured on numerous blogs, SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio and in this year's fantasy football publication by USAtoday Sports.

Our Draft Prep packages are targeted to fantasy football players who are serious about fielding a team that is optimized from top to bottom. We want gamers who want to maximize their draft day by loading up on talent in each and every round.

We project and grade over 1,000 players -- and update them twice per day. When we draft our fantasy football teams, we take our selections in the 12th round as seriously as we take our picks in the 1st or 2nd round. Selections like CJ Spiller, Alfred Morris and Danario Alexander in the back half of last year's draft gave us championship depth — and kept those players off of the rosters of our competition.

Our Projection System Looks at:

• A player's previous performance (95% of all sites & magazines stop here)
• Performance of players in similar systems scaled by the grade of the player
• Performance of players in the same role & depth chart slot scaled by the grade of the player
• The impact of other offensive players on the team
• The quality of the team's defense
• The quality and stability of the team's offensive line
• Recent news, events & injuries

We use our own cheat sheets & rankings verbatim to draft our expert league teams every year. Last year, our team — drafted straight off of our site's rankings — defeated Dave Richard from CBSsportsline. Dave is an incredible fantasy gamer and a guy that I have a lot of respect for. If our rankings are good enough to defeat industry experts — it is a safe bet that you can win with them as well.
