2013 Fantasy Football Rankings: WR Projections, Half ppr scoring

Calvin Johnson is an elite fantasy option, and is deserving of a first round selection in most formats. Simply said, he is a beast and is the focal point of Detroit's pass happy offense.

AJ Green sits in the top tier of fantasy wide outs. The offense around him is getting stronger which will help him avoid constant double and triple teams. Green will continue his dominance in 2013. He is a WR1 in all formats.

Brandon Marshall enters 2013 as an elite WR option. He is even stronger in PPR formats. Chicago's offense is much the same as it was in 2012 - so look for another strong season from Marshall if he is healthy.

Julio Jones emerged as a top fantasy option in 2012. He is a solid WR1 and exciting option for all formats.

Andre Johnson continues to be one of the elite WRs in the NFL. He is Matt Schaub's favorite target and will reel in nearly 100 catches again this year. He is a solid WR1 and history says that you may get him at a good value based on ADP.

Larry Fitzgerald will benefit from Carson Palmer's presence more than anyone else on the Arizona roster. Palmer has a history of favoring a target - and Fitz is the easy choice. Stronger play from the offensive line and the running game would boost Fitz

Victor Cruz signed his new deal so the distraction is over. It is back to business for the talented play maker. He should challenge for over 80 receptions and is a top flight option at WR this season.

Dez Bryant has emerged as a WR1 in all formats.

As long as Drew Brees is slinging the ball for the Saints, Colston will remain a strong starting fantasy option. Colston's value is highest in PPR formats where fantasy owners are rewarded for his high reception volume.

Roddy White remains an elite fantasy option at WR in 2013. The emergence of Julio Jones as one of the game's top play makers will mean less receptions per game for White in 2013 however.

Demaryius Thomas has the physical skill set of an elite fantasy WR. His value takes a slight dip due to the vast array of other weapons on the team. Denver's strong possession game helps boost his value, however, as they can afford to throw the ball dow

Vincent Jackson is scary good down the field. He uses his enormous frame very well. He is a strong low-end WR1 and a great WR2 in all formats.

Danny Amendola steps into an ideal fantasy scenario. He becomes the WR1 for a future Hall of Fame QB. The Patriots feature a strong offensive line and a reliable passing attack. Amendola should enjoy a breakout campaign.

Jordy Nelson is an elite fantasy receiver. He has the potential to be even stronger than his impressive projection dictates. Upside in a WR1 is a great thing to have.

Reggie Wayne enjoyed a renascence season with Andrew Luck under center. He played extremely well and shows no signs of dropping off. The cliff is coming - but it shouldn't be in 2013.
