2013 Fantasy Football Rankings: RB Projections, Half ppr scoring

Arian Foster is an ideal RB1 in all fantasy formats. He can anchor a fantasy team. He is worthy of consideration at the top of the draft board.

CJ Spiller is primed for a breakout season in 2013. Don't allow him to slip past you in your drafts. The Bills are going to lean very heavily on Spiller which means plenty of opportunities. He has awesome scoring potential.

Adrian Peterson enjoyed one of the best seasons ever for a RB in the NFL. The Vikings will need to pass the ball in 2013 if they want Peterson to contribute for a full season.

Doug Martin exploded onto the fantasy football scene in 2012 - and never slowed down. With a full off-season behind him, Martin is primed to continue his ascent in fantasy circles. He is unchallenged in Tampa Bay and will get tons of opportunities.

McCoy will be leaned on in Chip Kelly's new offensive scheme. Bryce Brown should take away a little of the workload - but just enough to keep McCoy healthy and fresh. McCoy is a solid RB1.

David Wilson takes over the featured role in New York's offense. He has rare explosion. His "fantasy points per opportunity" stat is off the charts - which hints strongly that he will explode, if healthy, in 2013. Draft him.

Marshawn Lynch has seen his fantasy value peak in Seattle. Their top notch defense, and desire to close the game once they take the lead - make him a fearsome fantasy RB. The fact that Seattle loves to run the ball in the red zone makes him even better.

DeMarco Murray's injury plagued 2012 is a thing of the past. He will enter into the 2013 as a low end RB1 and a strong RB2. He is used in the passing game which helps his value considerably in PPR formats.

Few runners have the raw talent of Darren McFadden. When healthy, he can carry an offense - and often does for the Raiders. He is a risky selection because he will require a high draft pick - and is a safe bet to miss time.
