Malcom Floyd out for fantasy Super Bowl week

The Chargers have cooled off and have not been helping many people win their leagues this season. One of their better WR3 assets will be lost for the remainder of the season. Malcom Floyd was put on IR - but dynasty leaguers will be happy to hear that his injury was minor. It simply wouldn’t have healed in the two weeks remaining on the schedule for San Diego.

A league source tells the Union-Tribune San Diego that Malcom Floyd’s (injured reserve) ankle injury is only a sprain, not a break.

Floyd is a solid WR3 in most formats. The Chargers need to invest in their offensive line in a major way this off-season. If they do, the passing game might see a resurgence in 2013.
