Ronnie Hillman’s fantasy value soars with McGahee injured
Willis McGahee has suffered an injury that will knock him out for the remainder of the fantasy football season:
McGahee suffered a torn MCL (as well as a leg fracture) on Sunday and will miss six-to-eight weeks, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

With McGahee sidelined, Ronnie Hillman becomes the early favorite to take on the play maker role out of the backfield. Hillman’s role has been increasing throughout the season. With the Denver offense hitting its stride, Hillman’s ability to hit the home run ball makes him a strong fantasy football asset for the remainder of the season. Expect his value to fall squarely around RB2 with RB1 upside.
Lance Ball and Knowshon Moreno will vulture touches and both have a chance to emerge as a dark horse in Denver.
