Roethlisberger suffered a sprained shoulder
Surprisingly little detail has emerged from Pittsburgh regarding Roethlisberger’s injury. We’ve seen several reports that he is questionable and several others that he is beyond a long shot to play this week. While it is wise to prepare for his absence, we need to remember this is the same player that went into the locker room last season against Cleveland and limped his way to victory.
Mike Tomlin called Ben Roethlisberger “questionable” with a sprained shoulder Tuesday but otherwise offered little detail.

If Big Ben is out, downgrade all of the Steelers. It is that simple. The offense revolves around his big arm and his accuracy down the field. Byron Leftwich doesn’t have the skill to play well against Baltimore any longer.
