Jake Locker to start

It seems like an eternity has passed since Jake Locker had fantasy football fans excited about his big arm and the Titans host of sneaky-good weapons on offense during the summer months. Since that time, Locker got hurt and missed a handful of games and the Titans have sunk into a funk.

Tennessee coach Mike Munchak said quarterback Jake Locker will start against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday barring any setbacks.

The talent is there on offense but the Titans need to execute. They have been dreadfully inconsistent this season. The only spark has been Chris Johnson’s recent resurgence to fantasy relevance.

Locker is a solid QB2 once he proves he’s healthy but it may not be until 2013 that he makes the leap to borderline QB1 status given his injury and the team’s lack of rhythm.
